Tool for fitting and tensioning Unibrace braces.
The two ends are shaped for the two halves of the job: one seats the brace down onto the plate, the
other takes up the tension in the wire. Doing both with one instrument means you are not putting the
brace down half-fitted to pick up a second tool.
Small notches at the tips hold the wire while you pull against it. Without them the brace slips at
exactly the moment the tension comes on, which is the failure everyone who has done this by hand knows.

Care
Stainless steel, autoclavable. Dry it fully before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a joint is what causes staining, not the sterilisation itself.
