A bench water distiller with its own tank, so it does not need connecting to a water supply.
Distilled water is what an autoclave runs on. Tap water leaves mineral scale in the chamber and the lines, and that scale is what shortens an autoclave's life. Making your own removes both the running cost and the risk of running out mid-list.
Fill it, close the lid, switch it on: the cycle starts by itself. Output is one litre an hour. Also used for cosmetic, dental and laboratory work that needs clean water.
