Podiatry tweezers with a serrated jaw and a pointed tip.
The serration is the working part. A smooth jaw slips on anything damp or fibrous, which is exactly what you are trying to hold: packing material, a fragment lifted out of the sulcus, a piece of reconstruction material being placed on the plate.
Built stiff rather than springy, so the grip holds when you put real pressure through it. That is the difference between these and a brow tweezer, which will bend before it holds.

Care
Stainless steel, autoclavable. Dry it fully before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a joint or a knurl is what causes staining, not the sterilisation itself.
