Straight 14 cm scissors for cutting materials rather than tissue: dressings, insole stock, padding and taping tape.

One blade is pointed and the other rounded. That combination is what lets you cut against skin without the leading tip being the thing that reaches it first, which is the entire safety argument for this shape.

Straight through the working section, so the cut line stays where you put it on a long run of tape.

Care

Stainless steel, autoclavable. Dry it fully before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a joint or a knurl is what causes staining, not the sterilisation itself.
