Podoland Podiatry Bit Set, 2 Piece

The two Podoland signature bits together: the 4-in-1 and the finishing bit.

They are a pair by design. The 4-in-1 does the reduction and the shortening, the carbide finisher takes the surface flat afterwards. Buying them together is cheaper than separately and saves the bit change that a two-stage job would otherwise need.

4-in-1 bit: hardened martensitic stainless steel, diamond-coated front section, fine cross-cut body.
Finishing bit: solid tungsten carbide, fine angled spiral cuts.

Finished with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. It is extremely hard and it resists wear and corrosion, which is what you want on a bit that spends its life at high RPM: the coating is the part that decides how many treatments you get before the cut goes dull.

Care

Clean and disinfect between clients like any other reusable instrument. Let it dry fully before it goes back in the block: a bit put away damp is how a shank starts to corrode where you cannot see it.
