A straight tip takes the hair flat against the skin, which is what you want when you are clearing a line rather than picking out strays. It is also the tip that grips best on something flat: a fallen rhinestone, a fragment of foil, the edge of a piece of tape.

Narrow gripping surface, so it closes on one hair instead of three. Contoured arms, and the colour is on the outside only, which makes it easy to keep one pair per station.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
