Nghia Nail Nippers NL.208

Nail nippers for cutting thickened and hard nail plate, the work a standard clipper cannot do without crushing.

The difference is blade geometry and leverage. A clipper closes across the whole nail at once; nippers take it in controlled bites, which is what you need on a nail that would otherwise split down the layers.

Blade length decides the job. A longer blade takes more per bite on a thick toenail; a shorter one gives control where the plate is deformed or the nail fold is tight.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
