Nghia Nail Nippers NL.207

Nail nippers with an 11 mm jaw in a gold-tone polished finish.

Same working end as the NL.206 and the same job: shortening plate, in two or three bites across the width rather than one cut through the lot. The difference is the finish, which is a presentation choice more than a performance one, though a client watching you unwrap the pouch does notice it.

Double spring between the arms, which is what gives you the even return and the quiet close. On a nail nipper that matters more than on a cuticle nipper: you are working against a harder material, and a spring that fights you is a spring that makes you rush the cut.

Passivated under the plating, so it holds up to repeated autoclave cycles.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
