Scissors rather than nippers where you need to see exactly what the blade is taking. On thin or damaged skin around the fold, the visibility is worth more than the leverage a nipper gives you.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
