Cuticle nippers with a short 8 mm jaw and fine blades, for precision work.

A short jaw is what you want on thin or damaged skin around the fold, and in the corners where a longer blade cannot sit flat. You take less per pass, but you see exactly what you are taking.

Double spring between the arms. That is what you feel when a nipper is worth the money: the return is even, the close is quiet, and you can stop the jaw exactly where you meant to instead of letting it snap shut.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
