Nghia Cuticle Nippers CL.210

Cuticle nippers with a long 12 mm jaw, for clearing cuticle in fewer passes.

A 12 mm jaw is the size you reach for when there is real overgrowth to take down, or on toes where the fold is wider than anything you meet on a hand. It covers ground a short jaw would need three bites for, and every extra bite is another chance to catch live skin.

Double spring between the arms. That is what you feel when a nipper is worth the money: the return is even, the close is quiet, and you can stop the jaw exactly where you meant to instead of letting it snap shut.

Matte, passivated finish. Passivation is not cosmetic here: it is the surface treatment that keeps the steel from pitting once it has been through the autoclave a few hundred times.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
