Nghia Cuticle Nippers C-35

Cuticle nippers with a jaw 12 (5 mm) for removing dead skin around the nail fold.

Jaw size is the thing to match to your hand and your work: a shorter jaw gives control on tight cuticle, a longer one clears more in a pass. Neither is better, they suit different techniques.

Nghia grind their blades to close along the full length, which is what determines whether a nipper cuts cleanly or tears. A nipper that tears leaves a ragged edge that the client picks at, and that is how a hangnail becomes an infection.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
