Nghia Cuticle Nippers C-06

Cuticle nippers in surgical stainless steel, jaw size 16 (7 mm), 11 cm overall.

Built differently from the CL series. The jaws use a lap joint rather than a box joint, which wears more slowly and is slower to develop the side-to-side play that eventually makes a nipper chew instead of cut. The spring is single-sided and mounted on a stainless screw, so it can be adjusted or replaced rather than written off with the tool.

Extended handle profile. At 40 g it is light for its length, which is the point on a tool you hold for a full column of appointments.

Care

Stainless steel, so it takes autoclaving and chemical disinfection between clients. Dry it properly before it goes back in the pouch: moisture left in a hinge is what causes staining and eventually stiffness, not the sterilisation itself.
