At 100 W the X1W is the high-output end of the built-in range. Recessed into the manicure table, the intake sits level with the working surface and catches filings as they fall rather than after they have drifted into the room.
The power is what lets it keep up with continuous acrylic work. A weaker built-in unit copes with gel polish but starts losing the heavier dust from filing a full set.
