The X-2S is built for continuous salon use rather than occasional filing. At 345 to 406 cubic metres of filtered air per hour it moves genuine volume, which is what keeps monomer dust and filings out of the air rather than merely stirring them.
Two fan speeds let you match the noise to the task. At 2800 rpm it is quiet enough for conversation across the table; at 3200 rpm and 58 dB it is working hard, which is where you want it while filing a full acrylic set.

Extraction is a working-conditions measure, not a substitute for ventilation. Airflow falls gradually as the filter fills, so replace on schedule rather than waiting to notice.
