The Glow L05 is a clamp-mounted treatment lamp with an arched head with curved arms. The arms move through 215° horizontally, and the stand turns a full 360°, which together mean you can put the light exactly where the shadow would otherwise fall.
That is the whole job of a treatment lamp. A single overhead bulb throws the shadow of your own hand onto the spot you are working on; an LED strip along a wide profile, aimed from the side, does not.
At 6500 K the light is cool and neutral, so nail colour reads true rather than shifting warm the way it does under a household bulb. That matters when a client is choosing a shade and when you are photographing the result.
