The Arche II is built around an arched head filled with 582 LEDs. That number is the point rather than a spec-sheet flourish: light spread across a wide curved profile arrives from several directions at once, so nothing casts a hard shadow onto the nail.
Shadow-free lighting is the point. A single overhead bulb throws the shadow of your own hand onto exactly the spot you are working on, and a wide illuminated profile does not.
It suits any close work where a shadow costs you accuracy, so nail styling, lash extensions, brows, permanent makeup and tattoo.
